NATIONAL SERVICE TO YOUTH AWARD

The National Service to Youth Award is for Club staff, board member or other volunteers who have attained five or more years of devoted full- or part-time service to the Boys & Girls Club Movement.

The National Service to Youth Award bears the inscription "For long and devoted service to boys and girls". The award is presented as an antique copper medal on a red grosgrain neck ribbon with a personalized certificate and a lapel pin with gemstones is for each five-year increment. .

NOMINATION PROCEDURE

Nominations for the National Service to Youth Award may be made by any individual, Boys & Girls Club or Area Council. Click below to submit nominations for review. 

NOMINATION FEES

There is no longer a set fee for nominations. You will receive a link to print your certificate online after submitting your nomination, and you can order your pin and medallion from the BGCA estore. Pins are different prices depending on the years of service. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.

AWARD PRESENTATIONS

It is recommended that National Service to Youth Awards be presented at Area Council dinners, annual meetings or on special occasions planned for this purpose. The number of National Service Recognition Awards to be presented at any given function should be carefully reviewed by each Boys & Girls Club organization in order to maintain the dignity of each award.
